The fourth edition of 4YFN kicks off on February 27th (until March 1st). 4YFN, is the biggest event for startups, forming part of the Mobile World Congress. Once again, BStartup the Banco Sabadell programme for entrepreneurs, will be a global partner, and also be involved in the activities led by the BStartup, Innovation, Digital Transformation and Sabadell Venture divisions
This year, the event includes 150 hours of activities, and key speakers from the most innovative companies, such as Terry Von Bibra, General Manager of Alibaba Europa and Michael Spigelman, Director of Product Innovation at Netflix, amongst others. Or Vitalkin Buterin, aged just 22, and winner of the World Technology Award for creating Ethereum, who will be arriving in Barcelona accompanied by Banco Sabadell.
How can we help you? During these three days you can talk to our financial, innovation and investment experts at our stand. The specialist BStartup and Sabadell Venture teams can explain how you can finance your projects, and which resources to use, whilst the Innovation and Digital Transformation divisions will be pleased to listen to your proposals as part of their search for proposals they wish to collaborate with.
Close to 20,000 people are expected to attend, which is testament to widespread interest in the event from entrepreneurs and companies throughout the world.
Our schedule is listed below. The Blockchain Hackathon, which will be held at Pier 1 (Palau de Mar) is one of the highlights, together with the participation of Vitalik Buterin, the 22 year old winner of the World Technology Award for creating Ethereum. Buterin was born in Russia and raised in Canada. Buterin designed Ethereum to be a distributed universal computer that will revolutionise the efficiency of the computing industry and provide a big boost to other peer-to-peer protocols, and for the first time, an economic layer has also been added.
